WANTED:  Junior Rifle Program Volunteers

The Riverdale Junior Rifle Program is looking for a volunteer to administer the program.  Any interested individual should contact   Ted Guis.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

There have been reported  incidents where bullets have bounced back as far as the shooting ports, striking some shooters.  It has been determined that the most likely cause of these incidents are low-speed bullets hitting the curtains and "bouncing back" up-range.  Based upon available evidence, there are two most likely sources of such low-speed bullets:  a) very low velocity loads, and b) bullets striking the floor, sidewalls, or overhead baffles prior to hitting the curtains.

For your own safety and the safety of fellow shooters:

If you have difficulty assuring that your shots strike the target area of the bullet traps, please refrain from using the range.  Additionally, the use of low-velocity loads is  prohibited.

All shooters are reminded that the use of proper eye protection is mandatory.
