The Riverdale Police Pistol team Junior Rifle Program is open to
all youth between age 8 and high school graduation who are deemed by the
staff to be mature enough to undertake the responsibilities of the
program. Safety training is provided prior to participation, and a
written and practical test must be passed prior to starting the actual
shooting portion of the program. Rifles and other equipment are
provided, with the exception of eye and hearing protection which the
student MUST provide and MUST use.
The program charges $5.00 per night
which covers the price for up to 100 rounds of ammunition, which is
slightly below our actual cost. Unless otherwise approved, club
ammunition must be used. Dues are $25.00 per year plus tax and are due
at the start of the season.
