The Riverdale Police Summer “L” League was created to continue the shooting activities started by the Tri-County League which ended in 2006.  All Riverdale members, associates and past members of the Tri-County League are welcome to compete.

2008 Schedule
April 8 --- August 19

Tuesdays from 1:00 to 5:00 PM -- Last relay begins at 5:00 PM

 

Revolver
.38 Special Revolvers Only

Scopes and Red Dots are allowed (no lasers)

Center-Fire
Any safe center-fire pistol .32cal through .45cal

Scopes and Red Dots are allowed (no lasers)

 

Course of fire - 30 rounds

 Slow Fire at 25 yards
 10 rounds (2 strings of 5 rounds) in 5 minutes

Timed Fire at 25 yards
 10 rounds (2 strings of 5 rounds) each in 15 seconds

 Rapid Fire at 15 yards
 10 rounds (2 strings of 5 rounds) each in 11 seconds

16 matches to qualify.
Up to four additional matches may be fired to eliminate lower scores.
30 shooters minimum or league will be cancelled.

 

One-hand or Two-hand shooting is permitted
and must be indicated at time of registration.

 Awards are considered for ONE-Hand and TWO-Hand Shooting.  Awards are distributed using the Lewis System in both categories for both Revolver and Center Fire.  A first place in each category will be awarded with additional awards as the number of shooters dictates.

Registration Fee

$30 per gun for Riverdale members - $35 for non-members. League fee due at the beginning of each league.
