Practical Pistol Seminar

Riverdale Practical Shooters hosts USPSA Practical Pistol matches on the third Saturday of the month (October thru April). For those of you who may be interested in participating, but have no experience with IPSC/USPSA competition, we offer a four-hour seminar in September, prior to the start of our match season. We may schedule an additional seminar if we receive sufficient demand. Interested shooters should e-mail at to be placed on the waiting list.

The seminar begins at 10:00 am and includes an overview of safety procedures, equipment, USPSA rules, scoring, and range commands. Bring any safe centerfire handgun and holster, at least two magazines and 50 rounds. You will complete a mandatory Safety Check and shoot an actual stage. Space is limited. A fee of $20 is charged to cover the cost of supplies.

Minimum of 10 pre-paid applications received required to hold the seminar.

If you join USPSA before you leave the range, your seminar fee will be credited toward your annual USPSA membership dues ($40).
